The ICC on Monday dismissed claims made by news channel Al Jazeera that India’s Test matches against England (2016) and Australia (2017) were fixed, saying the passages of play identified as fixed were entirely predictable, and therefore “implausible as a fix”.

ఇంగ్లండ్, ఆస్ట్రేలియాతో భారత్ ఆడిన టెస్ట్ మ్యాచ్లు ఫిక్స్ అయ్యాయంటూ వచ్చిన ఆరోపణల్లో నిజం లేదని అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్ కౌన్సిల్(ఐసీసీ) స్పష్టం చేసింది. 2018 మే 27న 'క్రికెట్స్ మ్యాచ్ ఫిక్సర్స్' పేరుతో ప్రముఖ టీవీ చానల్ 'అల్ జజీరా' ప్రసారం చేసిన రెండు డాక్యుమెంటరీలలోని ఆరోపణలను ఐసీసీ కొట్టి పారేసింది. ఇందులో పేర్కొన్న అంశాలపై తాము పూర్తి స్థాయిలో విచారణ జరిపామని, ఎక్కడా తప్పు జరగలేదని స్పష్టం చేసింది.
